Salem State University is seeking adjunct professors with interest and experience teaching face-to-face, hybrid, and online graduate-level courses within the higher education in student affairs (HESA) MEd program. Teaching assignments may include: introduction to the student affairs profession, history of higher education, college student development, administration and organization in higher education, student affairs research, assessment and evaluation student affairs, helping skills, multicultural issues in student affairs, practicum, higher education law and risk management, higher education finance, and special topics seminars.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of relevant and current work experience, ongoing professional development in related fields, an interest and experience in teaching the subjects, and a commitment to impactful and quality instruction. Preference will be given to candidates who also have professional certifications in related disciplines, extensive work experience showing progression and/or a Ph.D. in the related business field to be classified as a Scholarly Academic, Practice Academic, Scholarly Practitioner, or Instructional Practitioner as defined by AACSB standards.
