The Salem State University Department of Art + Design seeks to fill a full-time, tenure track position in Graphic Design. The ideal candidate must be prepared to take leadership of a well-established, well-supported concentration in graphic design and demonstrate a vision for how best to bring the program into its future—including clear perspectives on curriculum development, engaging our existing program in Interactive Design, engagement with our graphic design alumni and regional professionals.  The NASAD-accredited Art + Design major at Salem State offers a liberal arts integrated curriculum structured to provide an in-depth experience in the visual arts and design with an emphasis on studio production.    Our Art + Design faculty currently consists of 10 full-time professors, 3 professional staff as well as a network of experienced adjuncts. Salem State University is well-known regionally for its expanded arts community including Art, Design, Music, Dance, Theater and Creative Writing. The Department of Psychology at Salem State University seeks an industrial/organizational psychologist for a full-time tenure-track faculty position beginning in September 2018. Teaching assignments may include (but are not limited to) undergraduate courses in  general psychology, research methods & statistics, industrial/organizational psychology, as well as courses in the MS program in industrial/organizational psychology program such as work motivation, research methods, psychometrics, and performance appraisal, training and development. The specific area of research interest is open. The successful candidate will have an active research program that lends itself to involvement of graduate and undergraduate students. Salem State University seeks applications from candidates who hold a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in exercise physiology, exercise science, or related health discipline, or ABDs in the same fields with significant progress on the dissertation and strong teaching potential. This is a non-tenured faculty position which is considered a part-time benefited position (teaching 11 credits of a 12 credit full-time load each semester).
