The School of Education seeks to establish a pool of qualified applicants for future, part-time appointments as adjunct professors of Reading/Literacy education. The School of Education has several openings for temporary, part-time, non-tenure track lecturer position. Lecturers are limited to two courses per term. This will be a semester-by-semester appointment, with the possibility of renewal. This temporary Lecturer pool is anticipated to remain continuously active through May 31, 2018.

The Department of Psychology at Salem State University seeks an industrial/organizational psychologist for a full-time tenure-track faculty position beginning in September 2018. Teaching assignments may include (but are not limited to) undergraduate courses in  general psychology, research methods & statistics, industrial/organizational psychology, as well as courses in the MS program in industrial/organizational psychology program such as work motivation, research methods, psychometrics, and performance appraisal, training and development. The specific area of research interest is open. The successful candidate will have an active research program that lends itself to involvement of graduate and undergraduate students. Salem State University is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach within the Geo-Information Science Graduate Program. Experience with GIS software, a thorough understanding of spatial data, spatial modeling and GPS familiarity are strongly desired. The ability to teach using ESRI products is required. Classes run one evening per week Monday through Thursday during fall and spring semesters, and possibly summer, as enrollment permits.
