Salem State University is currently seeking a full-time, temporary faculty member to teach in a dynamic nursing program which includes an undergraduate and evening graduate program. This non-tenured, benefited, renewable faculty position is responsible for teaching 11 credits of a 12-credit full-time load each semester.
Candidates are required to perform duties in accordance with the MSCA contract. Duties include teaching responsibilities, advising, and scholarship and contributions to the development of the department and university. The standard teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester. The position is subject to available funding.
A master of science in nursing; a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience and expertise in adult health nursing. Candidates must be eligible for Massachusetts RN license. Previous teaching experience at the college/university level.
Experience in curriculum, instructional technologies and program development.
