Working under the leadership of the associate vice president the primary goal of the stewardship officer's work is to build donor trust through consistent and meaningful contact from the university. S/he will collaborate with university leadership, gift officers, marketing/creative staff, and key volunteers to develop and implement strategies for effective and timely acknowledgement, recognition, and stewardship of alumni, donors, and other friends and partners of the university. S/he will draft communications, coordinate mailings, and complete special projects as required. S/he will also utilize data to assess and improve stewardship processes on a periodic basis.
