Salem State University is seeking adjunct professors with interest and experience teaching Childhood Education and Care. Teaching assignments will depend upon the expertise of the candidate and needs of the programs.
Adjunct faculty members are asked to teach courses in Childhood Education and Care on an as-needed basis. Adjunct instructors hold the responsibility for the management of the courses they teach. Adjunct instructors are expected to be available for a reasonable amount of time outside their classroom/teaching time for each course to counsel students regarding course work. Adjunct faculty members must have sufficient expertise in the field, acquired through suitable academic background and/or experience in the field, to teach our students in their area(s) of expertise.
Duties will also include advising students and curriculum/program development. Work collaboratively with faculty, in a school with future-directed leadership and a collective focus on academic excellence, success of our students and faculty development.
