Salem State University is seeking adjunct professors with interest and experience teaching courses in the Special Education program. Teaching assignments will include Assistive and Adaptive Technology, Introduction to Special Education, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and other courses related to Special Education, depending upon the expertise of the candidate and needs of the programs.
Duties may include development of syllabi, student grading, student/teacher consultation, practicum supervision and curriculum/program development. Work collaboratively with faculty, in a school with future-directed leadership and a collective focus on academic excellence, success of our students and faculty development. Courses are held at 4:30 and 7:00 pm and some weekends. Summer courses may also be available.
This posting will be valid for three years to build a sufficient adjunct pool.
