  • General Statement of Duties

    Salem State University is seeking adjunct instructors with interest and experience teaching MSW courses. Teaching assignments will depend upon the expertise of the candidate and needs of the programs.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Adjunct instructors will work closely with lead faculty to ensure an environment focused on academic rigor and student success.

     

    This posting will be valid for three years to build a sufficient adjunct pool.

     

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Master's degree
    • Demonstrated commitment to collaboration and collegiality
    • Demonstrated commitment to teaching, supervision, and advising
    • Strength and potential for excellence and leadership in community engagement and university services

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • College-level teaching experience, at the graduate level
    • Experience teaching a multicultural population

    • Adjunct positions are temporary for one semester only, with a possibility for re-hire. All candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States. Adjunct positions are not eligible for H1B Visa sponsorship
